Abflug Serie & Fumetto Satellit
Each year, the Fumetto International Comics Festival takes place in Lucerne, bringing together artists, illustrators and storytellers from around the world.
Alongside the main festival programme, a number of Satellit exhibitions are hosted across the city, offering space for independent projects and collaborations connected to comics and illustration.
This year, BADI Culture Studio is taking part in one of the Satellit exhibitions.
For this project, we collaborated with three illustrators based in Lucerne.
Together, we developed the Abflug Foulard Serie, a collection inspired by migrating birds.
Migration is a natural movement between places. A rhythm of departure and return. For BADI Culture, this idea reflects our own story, connecting Switzerland and South Africa through design, people and shared creative work.
Each design in the series explores this theme in a different way.

The Abflug Serie is presented as part of the Fumetto Satellit exhibitions in Lucerne.
