Top 5 Cafés in Cape Town for Coffee & Fashion
Cafés mentioned in this below...

Café #1: The Strangers Club – Green Point, Cape Town

The Strangers Club blends café culture with fashion, sustainability and local creativity. Set in a beautifully restored heritage home, it’s more than just a coffee stop. The café shares its space with a boutique that stocks locally and ethically made fashion and lifestyle products, echoing BADI Culture’s commitment to conscious design and meaningful storytelling.

The energy is earthy, vibrant and rooted in community. It attracts creatives, conscious travellers and locals alike, an audience closely aligned with BADI’s values and aesthetic.

Café #2: Kanela Cafe – Sea Point

Cape Town hasn’t just caught onto coffee culture, it’s fully embraced the coffee rave culture too! This stunning café in Sea Point blends a love for coffee, community and good vibes. They offer running club meet-ups, yoga sessions, morning coffee raves, afternoon teas, nourishing food and of course, African-sourced coffee.

Grab a quick takeaway from their street-side window or sit inside their beautiful restaurant or garden space.

Café #3: Conscious Kitchen – Kloof

A space that brings together good coffee, nourishing food and thoughtful design.

Conscious Kitchen in Kloof offers more than just a café. Alongside their coffee and food offering, you will also find a small selection of clothing and everyday items, creating a space that feels considered and intentional.

What makes it even more special is the way they give back to local communities, adding a deeper sense of purpose to everything they do.

It is the kind of place you can spend time in, whether you are stopping for a coffee, browsing, or simply taking a moment for yourself.

Café #4: Paulines – Green Point, Gardens & Sea Point

Paulines is a personal favourite of mine, not only because their coffee is delicious, but because their almond buns are truly insatiable.

They have three locations: one in Green Point next to a beautiful church (a quaint, peaceful setup), another in Gardens, and the third in Sea Point. All are worth visiting and are perfect for working, relaxing or meeting friends.

They value community and conscious daily habits. Their speciality is ceremonial matcha and Hojicha, both Japanese-sourced.

Café #5: Shelflife Café – Cape Town

This one is for the art and streetwear lovers.

Located inside the Shelflife store, the café sits within a space that brings together sneakers, streetwear and art. You can browse the in store sneaker selection, explore the gallery, and enjoy a coffee all in one place.

It is a space with a strong creative energy and plenty to take in, whether you are there for a quick stop or a slower visit.

Arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning for a relaxed start and a great early-bird offer.
